Three Fugitives is a 1989 comedy starring Nick Nolte as Lucas, a professional criminal just released from prison who finds himself in the middle of a bank robbery being perpetrated by a bumbling amateur (Martin Short). When Lucas is taken hostage by the amateur, the police assume that Lucas is the actual mastermind of the crime. The film was a remake of a 1986 French comedy.

Det. Tener (Alan Ruck) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 15 .38 revolver as his sidearm throughout the film.

Tacoma SWAT officers are armed with what appear to be the converted Heckler & Koch HK94 that frequently appear in films made in the 1980's and 1990's.
