Shaft (2000)

Shaft is a 2000 action film starring Samuel L. Jackson as the title character, who is an NYPD detective that happens to be the nephew of John Shaft (Richard Roundtree) of the original 1971 film. The film was directed by John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious) and co-stars Vanessa Williams, Jeffrey Wright, and Christian Bale.
