Remington 7600 Police Model - 7.62x51mm (.308)

The Remington Model 760 is a pump action rifle that was first introduced in 1913. It was replaced in 1981 by the improved Model 7600, which was offered in 'sportsman' design with wooden furniture, and 'tactical' design with black synthetic forearm and buttstock. The "Police Model" of the 7600 shortened the Barrel from 22.5" to 16.5" abd moved the rear sight from the barrel (above the foregrip) to the back of the receiver.

The rifle is chambered for the following calibers:

  • .243 Winchester
  • .270 Winchester
  • 7.62x51mm NATO(.308)
  • .30-06.

The Police model chambered for 7.62x51mm NATO(.308).
