All the Pretty Horses is a 2000 Western drama based on a novel by Cormac McCarthy (the author of No Country for Old Men). The film was directed by Billy Bob Thornton and starred Matt Damon, Penelope Cruz, Henry Thomas and Lucas Black.
The following weapons were used in the film All the Pretty Horses:
Single Action Army Bisley .32-20
As described in the novel, the Bisley Model of the Colt Single Action Army is carried by Jimmy Blevins (Lucas Black). Jimmy mentions that it's a ".32-20" and Lacey Rawlins (Henry Thomas) says that's a rifle cartridge. When asked where he got that gun, Jimmy says he got it "at the gittin' place" (a line also used in Cormac McCarthy's No Country for Old Men).
Single Action Army "Artillery"
The "Artillery" model of the Single Action Army is wielded by John Grady Cole (Matt Damon). He later is seen using the barrel of the revolver to cauterize a wound.
M1911A1
A nickel M1911A1 is also wielded by John in a shootout with Captain Raul (Julio Oscar Mechoso) and his men.
Winchester 1873
During their ride, Lacey Rawlins (Henry Thomas and Cole are seen with the Winchester 1873 rifle.
Winchester 1897
Another one of Raul's men is armed with a Winchester Model 1897 shotgun.
1893 Spanish Mauser
When Lacey, Cole, and Jimmy are arrested by Captain Raul, several men are seen armed with Spanish Mauser rifles.
