Law and Order: Los Angeles is the fourth direct spinoff of the series Law & Order. The premise of the series is similar to the original Law & Order, but the setting has now moved to Los Angeles.

Handguns
Beretta 92FS
The Beretta 92FS is carried by Det. Rex Winters (Skeet Ulrich). Starting in Season 1's "Silver Lake" (S1E10), Ricardo Morales (Alfred Molina) carries the Beretta upon returning to the LAPD after being a prosecutor. Winters and Morales are the first Law & Order regular detectives to carry the Beretta as their sidearms. Uniformed LAPD officers are also seen carrying the weapon.
Glock 17
The Glock 17 is the sidearm primarily carried by Det. Tomas "TJ" Jaruszalski (Corey Stoll). Uniformed and undercover LAPD officers are also seen carrying the weapon.
M1911A1
In Season 1's "East Pasadena" (S1E11), an M1911A1 is pulled by Mike Foreman to threaten a politicians during a city council meeting\. Det. Morales describes it as "a .45."
Shotguns
Remington 870
The Remington 870 is used by undercover LAPD officers when apprehending suspects in Season 1's "Harbor City". Some LAPD SWAT Officers use Remington 870s as well.
