The following weapons can be seen in gameplay footage of the upcoming first-person shooter Operation Flashpoint: Red River:

WORK IN PROGRESS

Operation Flashpoint: Red River is the sequel to Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising, still revolves around a fictional conflict between the United States Marine Corps and the People's Liberation Army of China. This time, the storyline takes place in the year 2013, where the United States Marine Corps is sent to Tajikistan to deal with a civil war. While fighting against Tajik insurgents, the PLA have arrived and threatening the U.S. to leave the country, but the U.S. refuses and starting to fight against the PLA too.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River release date is April 21st for Europe and Australia, April 26th for the United States.


United States Marine Corps

Pistols

Beretta M9/M9A1

All of the Marines have unknown pistols holstered to their legs. This pistols are supposed to be Beretta M9, or more appropriate, the updated Beretta M9A1 as the United States Marine Corps use today.

A Marine in the developer's diary video, "The Boots of a Marine", is firing a M1911A1 at a Tajikistan insurgent.

The M4A1 Carbine is one of the main weapons the Marines use, attached with: Iron sights, Aimpoint CompM2 red dot sight, Trijicon TA31RCO-A4CP ACOG scope, EOTech 556 Holographic sight, AN/PEQ-2 TPIAL laser designator, SureFire Universal WeaponLight and M203A1 grenade launcher.

M4A1 in the hands of SSgt. Knox. Throughout the gameplay footage, Sergeant Knox is one of the few marines who uses a M4A1 with iron sights rather with optical sight.

Colt M16A4 Rifle

The M16A4 rifle is the standard issue weapon of the Marines, can be seen attached with: Iron sights, Aimpoint M68 CCO, Trijicon TA31RCO ACOG scope, SureFire Universal WeaponLight and M203A2 grenade launcher. For some reason, the in-game model of the M16A4 has the standard M16A2 handguard, rather than the KAC M5 railing system like the USMC use in real life.

M249-E2 SAW

The M249-E2 SAW is the standard light machine gun of the Marines, seen attached with iron sights, Aimpoint CompM2 red dot sight, EOTech 556 Holographic Sight, SureFire Universal WeaponLight and AN/PEQ-2 TPIAL laser sight. The M249 is also the main weapon of the Auto-Rifleman class, and used by Cpl. Ryan Balletto as seen in the new video of Fireteam Outlaw 2 Bravo.

The M39 Enhanced Marksman Rifle will be one of the Scout's weapons. It is fitted with a TS-30.xx series Leupold Mark 4 day scope same as the M14 DMR, AN/PEQ-2 TPIAL laser designator, and an optional KAC M4/M16 QDSS-NT4 Suppressor.

Barrett M107

The Barrett M107 is one of the available sniper rifles in-game used by the United States Marine Corps. The rifle is called "Model M107 SN" in-game. It is unknown if the M107 has any attachments available to it, as it is only been seen from its scope like the picture below.
