Stakeout is a 1987 action comedy starring Richard Dreyfuss and Emilio Estevez as Seattle detectives who find themselves in a whole mess of trouble when one of them gets too involved with the subject they are observing on a surveillance stakeout. The film was directed by John Badham (Point of No Return), who would later reunite with the actors for the 1993 sequel Another Stakeout.
