The following weapons are seen in the film The Beach
Norinco Type 56
Thai farmers that are guarding the marijuana plantation are armed with Norinco Type 56 assault rifles (both the fixed Type 56 and the folding stock Type 56-1). Richard (Leonardo DiCaprio) is briefly seen handling one.
Browning Hi-Power
During one of Richard's hallucinations, Daffy (Robert Carlyle) can be briefly seen with a Browning Hi-Power.
M60 Machine Gun
Daffy is also seen manning a M60 machine gun during Richard's hallucination, firing it at the "parasites of society".
Smith & Wesson Model 10
The senior farmer (Abhijati Jusakul) gives Sal (Tilda Swinton) a Smith & Wesson Model 10 near the end of the film.
