My "pride and joy", the very rare Smith & Wesson 3914TSW - 9x19mm

Name: Mike
Age: 35
Hometown: Long Island, NY
Current Locations: Arlington, VA and Midwest (field office).
Occupation: Government Employee
2nd Occupation: IMFDB Resident Expert on Smith & Wesson 3rd gen. semi-automatics

I am a long time gun collector and handgun hobbyist. I have been a connoisseur and student of 3rd generation Smith & Wesson handguns for over a decade with an appreciation for their design and variations. I buy, sell and collect 3rd generation Smiths on a regular basis and shoot them almost as often. My second favorite pistol design for civilian concealed carry (after the S&W 3913) is the blow-back pistol design as found in the Walther PPK/S and also the Makarov 9x18 and Bersa 380 handguns. When it comes to rifles, I think the greatest rifle of all time is the indestructible AK-47 and its variants.

Other interests include many I.T. specialties such as network security, video and music encoding/streaming and web services. I have servers co-located in midwest data centers that I use to pursue hobbies such as informatics databases and algorithms, Silverlight streaming projects and VPN services.
