The following weapons can be seen in the upcoming sci-fi FPS Crysis 2:
WORK IN PROGRESS
Note: Do not post screenshots and information from the leaked copy of Crysis 2. Only take from official videos and footage of the demo or trailers.
Handgun
Hammer Pistol
The Hammer pistol is seen being chambered by a C.E.L.L. soldier in beta footage. It appears to be based on the Desert Eagle but with the front of the slide and barrel based on the Beretta 92FS as indicated by the MyCrysis photos and features a compensator in front of the slide. The Hammer fires the (fictional) .50 Compact round and holds 9 in a magazine, similar to the .357 Magnum version of Desert Eagles.
Majestic Heavy Revolver
A six-shot revolver called the "Majestic Pistol" is seen being used by Alcatraz in the "Be The Weapon" trailer.
M12 Nova
The M12 Nova is the third sidearm confirmed to be in the game. It fires from a 20 round magazine. The pistol seems to be Crysis' SOCOM pistol, which was based on a mixture of the H&K UCP prototype, the Heckler & Koch Mark 23, the Heckler & Koch HK45, and the Walther P99.
Assault Rifle
SCAR
The weapon used by the protagonist Alcatraz and much of your allies heavily resembles a Heckler & Koch XM8. It utilizes advanced rifle cartridges that are smaller than 5.56mm rounds, but pack almost the same punch, allowing for 40 round magazines with virtually no loss in firepower. As in the Crysis world, it appears as if the weapon won the SOCOM SCAR competition.
SCARAB
A compact version of the SCAR, the SCARAB (Superior Combat Assault Carbine), is seen several times being used by U.S. military soldiers. Unlike its full-sized version, the only noticeable changes are the lack of a carrying handle and a slightly different barrel.
Grendel assault rifle
The GRENDEL assault rifle uses new 6.5x39mm Grendel rounds that have more stopping power than 5.56 NATO. The GRENDEL has a 24 rounds magazine and fires in 3 rounds bursts. The assault rifle resembles the Bushmaster ACR, though the Crysis 2 version can fire in bursts.
Submachine Gun
Feline SMG
Feline SMG, a bullpup SMG with a 60 round magazine, firing (fictional) 4.7mm pistol rounds. It is very similar to the real life assault rifle FN F2000 Tactical.
K-Volt electric gun
The player Alcatraz is seen firing a K-Volt electric gun at an alien Ceph unit in "Be The Weapon" trailer. It is very similar to a TDI Vector, but with a different type of magazine and a bulkier front.
Shotgun
Jackal shotgun
The Jackal shotgun, a semi-automatic shotgun with a 7 round box magazine. Looks like a Hawk Semi-Auto Tactical shotgun or Valtro PM5.
Marshall Shotgun
A 8-round pump-action shotgun based on Crysis' XM2014 shotgun, which was based on the Benelli M4 Super 90 though only Crysis: Warhead's version was semi-automatic. Through the use of the latest (fictional) 12 gauge rounds it can even be suppressed for covert operations.
Sniper Rifle
DSG-1
The DSG-1 is a 10-round precision rifle that appears in the beta multiplayer footage. As the name implies, it is based on the DSR-1. Changes from the Crysis DSG-1 are a shorter stock, a slightly shorter hand-guard and top rail, semi-auto fire mode, and a longer barrel.
Machine Guns
Detachable heavy machine gun
This heavy machine gun might be inspired by the M240 GPMG and the M85 heavy machine gun.
Mk. 60
Seen in the "Limited Edition" trailer is an M60E3 under the name "Mk. 60".
GE M134 Minigun
A door-mounted GE M134 Minigun with a longer barrel is seen on a helicopter in "The Wall" trailer.
Explosives
L-TAG grenade launcher
In the "Be The Weapon" trailer, Alcatraz is seen firing the L-TAG grenade launcher, which is very similar to an M79 grenade launcher, but can hold 6 grenades.
M112 C4 explosive pack
M112 C4s appear as demolition charges that can be remotely detonated. The C4 pack in-game is actually a bundle of three M112 explosive packs taped together with duct tape.
JAW rocket launcher
In the "Central Station" level, the player is seen using the JAW rocket launcher to shoot down a Ceph alien unit. It's appearance and function plus that it can fire only one shot is similar to the M136 AT4.
The Swarmer
The Swarmer is a four-barreled rocket launcher system. Each shot sends out about eight mini-rockets what certainly do swarm the target[1]. The Swarmer holds 64 rockets with homing capabilities.
Grenades
Frag grenade
A fictional frag grenade with textures similar to the WWII-era Mk. 2 hand grenade is seen in the CryEngine 3 trailer.
M84 stun grenade
M84 stun grenades with custom coloring are seen being used by a C.E.L.L. soldier in the demo tutorial.
