Raza's Taliban fighters carry Heckler & Koch G36K rifles as well as other high end HK or Colt weapons. In the film, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) realizes that Raza's fighters have hijacked a weapons shipment from Stark Industries, and is thus better armed than any of the other factions in Afghanistan.

CAR-15 rifle
Some of the terrorist fighters seem to carry an XM177 lookalike rifle, sometimes referred to as a CAR-15, to differentiate it from the real XM177 series of rifles.

Used by USAF Security forces in Afghanistan, also used by Woodland BDU outfitted Security at the Airbase when Stark returns to the U.S.
