Hi, My name is Michael.

I am currently 18 years old and a complete Gun Geek, I own and shoot my own guns and I do not base my knowledge off of video games. I 100% support the 2nd Amendment.

My biggest pet peeve is people that are ignorant and spew incorrect crap about firearms without anything backing it up.

Guns and related that I dislike and why

Heckler und Koch's newer guns

They sell "neutered" rifles and carbines of their military arms because they believe that citizens shouldn't own such hardware and are going out of their way to stop people from converting their rifles into semi auto clones. I'll pass.

Glocks

I just don't like the gun because of how it feels in my hand and especially when I fire a .40 S&W Glock.

Beretta Tomcat .32 ACP

This is a gun to avoid. While my experiance was probably just the magazine, it would stovepipe a loaded round sticking straight out of the gun. I've also heard plenty of reports of this gun's frame cracking because the round is just too powerful for it.

Ruger SR9

I just don't like the way it feels in my hand, feels almost like a rectangle.

Hi Power and clone's Magazine "safety" disconnect

This "safety" in this fine piece of art is just pointless for my needs and most peoples needs. Gives it a horrible trigger pull and sometimes is just a huge PAIN IN THE REAREND to remove. Off the gunsmith with mine. I also hate how expensive parts for the Hi Power are, most popular handgun in the world yet not too common here.

Small jamm-o-matic handguns

Jennings, Bryco, Davis, etc, etc. Avoid these kind of guns without doing research first. Alot are crap but some are perfectly reliable.

Gun "Experts"

There are alot of people out there that are biased against a gun or company because their ego is too big or because of rumors they hear that are either not true or were true but were just with the gun in the prototype stage. While I don't like some guns, that doesn't make it a bad gun, I don't like Glocks but they are undeniably one of the best designed. I'm not the end all judge on handguns.

Egotists

These kind of people are very bad to our sport, someone decides to get into shooting but all he can afford is a Hi Point, something that works fine but is looked down upon because it isn't a $1,000 1911 or such. Alot of times these new shooters end up selling the gun and giving up because of these people. You don't need a customized 3 grand rifle to shoot good when a $400 Savage shoots just as good.
