Escape to Athena is a 1979 WWII action film starring Elliott Gould, Richard Roundtree, Sonny Bono, Claudia Cardinale, and Stephanie Powers as a group of resistance fighters and POW's who fight to escape a German-occupied Greek island while plotting to recover hidden treasure. The film is notable for featuring three actors who had appeared in James Bond films: David Niven as archaeologist Professor Blake, Roger Moore as Major Otto Hecht, and Telly Savalas as Zeno, the monk turned resistance fighter.
