The following firearms were used in The Man Who shot Liberty Valance :(1962)
Revolvers
Single Action Army
Tom Donophon (John Wayne) uses a Single Action Army with a Quickdraw (4 3/4") barrel. Liberty Valance (Lee Marvin) and his fellow outlaws also use the Single Action Army with the 4 3/4" barrel.
Ransom "Rance" Stoddard (Jimmy Stewart) is given ,what appears to be, a Colt 1862 revolver with a Richards-Mason conversion by Tom Doniphon (John Wayne) so that he might be able to protect himself against Liberty Valance (Lee Marvin) and his men.
Rifle
Winchseter Model 1894
Pompey (Woody Strode) uses a Winchester Model 1892.
