The Aviator is a 1985 historical drama starring Christopher Reeve as a pilot for the US Air Mail Service who finds himself stranded with a wealthy rebellious woman (Rosanna Arquette) after his plane crashes. The film was directed by George Miller (Mad Max) and is not to be confused with Martin Scorsese's 2004 Howard Hughes biopic.
