A Shot in the Dark is the second film in the "Pink Panther" movie series and once again stars Peter Sellers in the role of Inspector Jacques Clouseau.

While undercover as a hunter, Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) is seen carrying a 12 Gauge Double Barreled Shotgun, which he unexpectedly uses to shoot a bird. He is then confronted by the game warden, who asks Clouseau for his hunting license.
Unknown suppressed pistol
When Clouseau goes to a restaurant with Maria Gambrelli (Elke Sommer), an assassin fires an unknown suppressed pistol at the couple.
