The following weapons were used in the film Patriot Games:
SA80
In the beginning of the film, the British Army guards can be seen with SA80 rifles fitted with bayonets.
H&K P9S
When preventing the kidnapping, Jack Ryan (Harrison Ford) seizes a Heckler & Koch P9S from a terrorist, and proceeds to shoot several of the other gunmen. The gun is seen earlier in the hands of Sean Miller's brother.
AKM/AKMS
The favorite weapon of the Provisional IRA terrorists throughout the film are AKM and AKMS rifles. Later in the film, Dennis Cooley (Alex Norton) is killed with one of these weapons after failing to fire it.
DAO-12 "Street Sweeper"
When defending himself against the two IRA gunmen sent to kill him, Kevin O'Donnell (Patrick Bergin) can be seen using a DAO-12 "Street Sweeper" shotgun, killing both would-be assassins.
CZ-75
Kevin O'Donnell uses a Czech CZ-75 when he breaks Sean Miller (Sean Bean) out of police custody. He gives it to Miller, who uses it to execute the surviving police before leaving.
Uzi
In the scene where Dr. Ryan's wife and daughter are attacked on the freeway, an Uzi can be seen being used by Miller. Several other Uzis can be seen when Miller and the other terrorists make their attack on Ryan's home, one of which Dr. Ryan gets ahold of.
Mini Uzi
While conducting target practice at a terrorist camp in North Africa, Miller can be seen firing a Mini Uzi.
H&K MP5A3
When British police make their raid on the terrorist safehouse, some of them can be seen carrying H&K MP5A3's, one of them clubbing one of the terrorists with his. DSS Agents outside Dr. Ryan's house and a Hostage Rescue Team responding to the terrorist attack on Dr. Ryan's home can also be seen with MP5A3's.
Unknown Shotgun
During the terrorist attack on Dr. Ryan's home, Jack's wife retrieves a double-barreled shotgun of unknown make and model, using it to club one of the terrorists when it's discovered the gun is unloaded.
Trivia
Promotional material for the film (such as the above poster) shows Dr. Ryan brandishing a Beretta M92FS, but this weapon never appears on-screen.
Actually, Beretta 92Fs do appear in the movie. During the scene in Libya, one of the IRA terrorists is seen firing one, and then Annette comes over and tells him to spread his feet further while he shoots. Another is wielded by one of the bodyguards who goes into the basement in the end scene.
