The following firearms were used in the fifth season of the NBC television series Hunter:
Handguns
Beretta 92FS
Beginning with season five, LAPD Det. Sgt. Rick Hunter (Fred Dryer) carries a Beretta 92FS. After the success of Lethal Weapon and Die Hard, it's possible that the producers of Hunter wanted their character carrying a similar weapon as the heroes in those films.
Smith & Wesson Model 60 Snub
For the first time in the series, Hunter's partner Det. Sgt. Dee Dee McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) switches to a revolver from a semi-automatic when she begins carrying a snubnose Smith & Wesson Model 60 as her sidearm.
Smith & Wesson Model 36 Snub
When Hunter and McCall go to a murder scene in "Heir of Neglect" (5.01), they come across teenager Danny Sanderson (Chad Allen) holding a snubnose Smith & Wesson Model 36, described as a ".38" by Hunter.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
McCall (Stepfanie Kramer) takes an unloaded Smith & Wesson Model 10 from a wounded security guard at a free health clinic in "Heir of Neglect" (5.01).
