Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE)
Most of the Australian soldiers carry the Short Magazine Lee-Enfield (SMLE), including Jack Scholt (Jack Finsterer), his brother Max Scholt (Simon Stone), Darko (Travis McMahon), Johnno (Tom Budge), Sam (Steve Le Marquand), Dan (Angus Sampson), Wilstead (Ewen Leslie) and the Lieutenant (Ben Barrack).
M1928A1 Thompson
Burke (Luke Ford) carries the M1928A1 Thompson , which he has difficulty maintaining.
Bren Gun
Darko (Travis McMahon) and Blue (Christopher Baker) are the Bren Gunners for the Platoon. Australian soldiers can be seen firing the Bren gun during the final battle.
Mills Bomb
Burke (Luke Ford) and Jack Scholt (Jack Finsterer) can be seen using the Mills Bomb in the film.
Arisaka Rifle
Japanese soldiers use the Arisaka Rifle rifle throughout the film.
Type 99 Light Machine Gun
The Japanese use the Type 99 Light Machine Gun in the film. Two use them to kill Johnno (Tom Budge).
Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun
A Japanese machine gun crew shoot Max Scholt (Simon Stone) in the stomach during an ambush with a Type 92 Heavy Machine Gun.
