The following firearms were used in the 1969 comedy film Take the Money and Run:
Smith & Wesson Model 10
Police officers in the beginning that open fire on Virgil Starkwell (Woody Allen) carry standard Smith & Wesson Model 10 revolvers. The bank robbers that Virgil and his gang encounter while robbing the same bank also carry them.
Colt Detective Special
Virgil keeps a snubnose Colt Detective Special when robbing a pet store, only to be chased out of the store by a gorilla. One of Virgil's gang keeps one when robbing a bank.
Colt Commander
A member of Virgil's bank robbing gang keeps a Colt Commander as his sidearm.
Colt Python
Another member of Virgil's gang keeps a snubnose Colt Python.
Remington 870
Many of the chain gang guards keep Remington 870 Shotguns.
Unidentified Bolt-Action Rifles
When Virgil escapes from prison, guards fire at him with unidentified rifles.
