The Killing Fields is a 1984 drama directed by Roland Joffe and starring Sam Waterston as Sydney Schanberg who along with his fellow journalist Dith Pran (Haing S. Ngor) are witnesses to the rise of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia in the 1970s.
The following weapons were used in the film The Killing Fields:
AK-47
Many of the Khmer Rouge soldiers are seen using AK-47s.
M1911A1
A Cambodian soldier is seen cleaning a Colt M1911A1 with a rag as he converse with Pran. Sydney Schanberg (Sam Waterston) is seen being threatened by a Khmer Rouge soldier with M1911A1 as well.
