Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (translated as "''When the Cicadas Cry''" and released in the U.S. as "''When They Cry''") is an anime adaptation of a series of sound novels released by 07th Expansion. The majority of the story takes place in June of 1983 in the rural Japanese village of Hinamizawa. Misc

Airsoft Gun

Mion (and occasionally her twin, Shion) is often seen with a generic airsoft pistol in a shoulder holster. She never draws it in the anime, thus making it impossible to determine what gun it is modeled after (although in the "Higurashi - Daybreak" PC game, it is depicted as a Tokarev TT-33). It's only real purpose is to help solidify her "tomboy" image.
