The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles is an adventure series that aired on ABC for 2 seasons from 1992-1993 and later as 2 hour television movies in 1994. From executive producer George Lucas, the series followed the early life of his famed archeologist Indiana Jones during the first half of the 20th century. For a major part of the series, Indiana Jones (here played by primarily by Sean Patrick Flanery) is seen fighting for the Belgian Army under an assumed name during World War I. Harrison Ford would later reprise his role as Jones in the episode "Mystery of the Blues". The series would be compiled into 2 hour movies and released in 2007 on DVD.
The following weapons were used in the television series The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles:
Handguns
Rast-Gasser 1898
An Austrian Rast-Gasser 1898 revolver is seen in the hands of French officers. This is presumably intended to be a captured weapon - interestingly the Rast-Gasser 1898 chambered a round quite close to the French M1892 revolver and could use French ammunition.
Nagant M1878
As he leads troops in East Africa, Indiana Jones (Sean Patrick Flanery) is seen using a Belgian army Nagant M1878 revolver. This is somewhat surprising as these weapons are extremely rare.
Colt Trooper
In the episode "Mystery of the Blues", Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is able to wrest away the Colt Trooper from the man who wants the ancient tribal pipe. Unfortunately, Indy finds out that it's unloaded.
Mauser C96
A Mauser C96 is seen used by Germans most notably in the episodes set in East Africa and Europe.
Rifles
Lebel 1886
When Indiana Jones fights with the Belgian army during World War I, French soldiers and Belgian troops are seen carrying Lebel 1886 rifles. The Belgian army in WW1 actually used Mauser M1889 rifles, however these are extremely rare and it is unlikely any could be obtained.
Mauser Kar 98K
The primary weapon used by the German infantrymen is the WW2-era Mauser Kar 98K, likely as sufficient WW1 Gewehr 98s could not be obtained.
Mauser M1916 Guardia Civil
Indiana Jones (Sean Patrick Flanery) is seen with a Spanish Mauser M1916 Guardia Civil short rifle.
Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III*
The Lee-Enfield No.1 Mk.III* rifle is seen in the hands of British and British Commonwealth soldiers during World War I, especially in the hands of the Australian Light Horsemen in the British campaign against the Ottoman forces in the Middle East. They are also seen carried by Irish rebels and British troops in the Easter Rising.
Submachine Guns
M1921 Thompson
In "Mystery of the Blues", a mobster opens fire with a M1928 Thompson on Indiana and a young Eliot Ness when they're discovered in the warehouse.
Machine Guns
Schwarzlose M1907
The Austrian Schwarzlose M1907 Machine Gun is used by German forces in "Trenches of Hell". It looks more of a Czech ZB53 modded with a water jacket to imitate one as the muzzle would be slightly lower.
Maxim MG08
Both the French and German forces are seen firing the Maxim MG08 machine gun.
Lewis Gun
The Lewis Gun is seen prominently in the episode "The Phantom Train of Doom". It's mounted on an enemy biplane as well as being used by Indiana Jones from a hot air balloon. To all conniseurs, it must be noted the the Lewis Gun was captured and used by the Germans.
Russian Maxim
A Russian Maxim is seen on the German train in "The Phantom Train of Doom" innaccuratley used by the Germans.
Unknown Machine Gun
An unknown machine gun is seen mounted and fired on the sidewalk of the German train in "The Phantom Train of Doom". Not sure what it was but it looked weird.
Shotguns
12 Gauge Double Barreled Sawed off Shotgun
In "Mystery of the Blues", one of the men chasing Indiana Jones opens fire with a 12 Gauge Sawed off double barreled shotgun.
Other
Model 1912 Grenade
Indiana Jones (Sean Patrick Flanery) is seen gathering Model 1912 stick grenades during a battle.
Grenatenwerfer 16 "Spigot Mortar"
East African forces fighting for the Germans are seen using a Grenatenwerfer 16 "Spigot Mortar" .
