Wow, talk about an obscure choice for shotgun. But I was wondering, do the Shotguns in the movie had that fancy engraving on the side that the commercial Browning 2000s do? I have NEVER seen a real Browning 2000 that didn't. They came from the factory like that, and I haven't been able to track down if a riot model (with plain receiver) was ever manufactured. :I'm not sure actually.....there MIGHT be some engraving on it but it's too hard to tell for sure. I did a lot of hunting around on the internet looking for a shotgun that had a side loading port like the one in the movie, and I only found the Browning 2000 and the Browning Double Automatic. The shape of the Double Automatic is wrong, so I labeled it as a Browning 2000, only shotgun I could find that matches the one in the movie. - [[User:Diego Wolfwood|Diego Wolfwood]] | :I'm not sure actually.....there MIGHT be some engraving on it but it's too hard to tell for sure. I just did some looking. The film quality is quite poor, but you can sort of make out part of the engraving next to the ejection port: | |||

would shot guns be a good weapon for vacuum sealed environments, or do buck shot have a bit of penetration? rex095
The U.S. NAvy uses shotguns on it's ships. Supposedly buckshot is safer around nuclear reactors. Possibly the filmakers were thinking of that. --Jcordell 11:23, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
He's definitely holding a different type of shotgun on the poster though. This looks like a pump action of some sort. --funkychinaman 12:38, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
