Gintama (銀魂) is an anime (and a manga) about a Samurai, Gintoki Sakata who runs an all service enterprise (they do everything asked if it pays) with two young fellas (Shinpachi and Kagura). Its genre is rather comic/gag rather than "battle". The story takes place in a fictional Edo (former name of Tokyo) 20 years after the Amanto (extraterrestrial) invaded Japan during the Sakoku (isolation of Japan from foreign nations during the Edo period).
