Famed character actor, Ed O'Neill is probably best known for his boorish, misogynistic character, Al Bundy, from the long running television comedy ''Married with Children'', despite having played 'hard types' in many films and shows previously. Famed character actor, Ed O'Neill is probably best known for his boorish, misogynistic character, Al Bundy, from the long running television comedy Married with Children, despite having played 'hard types' in many films and shows previously. In the years during the run of "Married with Children", O'Neill found it hard to get cast in any role that was not comedy related.
