The following firearms were used in the film My Lucky Stars.

M-16

In many scenes a group of Hong Kong police officers emerge from nowhere to surround Skinny (Sammo Hung) and his friends and hold them at gun point. In each scene the majority of the officers carry some M-16 variant.

Soldiers also have FN L1A1 rifles.

British Inch Pattern L1A1 SLR (Self Loading Rifle) chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO - Variation of the FN FAL rifle. British & New Zealand SLR's were later fitted with black fibreglass furniture as seen here. Since the movie was made while Hong Kong was still under British control, this is the likely model.

Muscles (Jackie Chan) carries a Model 10 Snubnose as his main weapon as do most of the Hong Kong Police Force.
