Police Story is a 1985 Hong Kong action movie directed by and starring Jackie Chan as Detective Chen Ka-kui. Chan would reprise this role in three sequels: Police Story 2, Police Story 3: Supercop, and Police Story 4: First Strike, and would "reboot" the franchise in a more serious tone with 2004's, New Police Story. Many of the amazing action sequences in this film would later be copied in such action films as Bad Boys II and Tango & Cash.

A drug dealer is seen firing a Model 10 in the opening shootout in the slums. Apparently, RHKPF Detective Chen Ka-kui's (Jackie Chan) sidearm later changes to a Model 10 snubnose, when he is framed for murdering one of his corrupt fellow officers.
