Hardware is a 1990 science fiction film starring Dylan McDermott as a scavenger in a post-apocalyptic world who purchases a discarded cyborg head as a Christmas present for his girlfriend, who is a metal sculptor. The cyborg turns out to be the prototype of self-assembling killing machine, the M.A.R.K. 13, and arms itself with various metal working tools from her workshop including drills and cutting disks.
The film also goes under the title of M.A.R.K. 13 (which is a reference to the biblical passage 'no flesh shall be spared').
The following firearms were used in the film Hardware:
Franchi SPAS-12
Moses (Dylan McDermott) carries a pistol grip Franchi SPAS-12 throughout the movie. It has strange Celtic or Arabic designs stamped on the receiver and engraved on the leather strap.
Desert Eagle Mark I
The Chief Security Guard carries a Desert Eagle Mark I pistol. After the guard is killed the pistol is picked up by Shades who uses it to shoot the MARK 13 at the end.
AMC Auto Mag Pistol
The deputy security guard carries an AMC Auto Mag Pistol. The Taxi Driver (Lemmy Kilmister) also carries an unknown pistol (probably a non functioning prop).
Norinco Type 84S
A guard in the marketplace is seen armed with a Norinco Type 84S rifle.
Norinco Type 56-2
A Norinco Type 56-2 rifle can be seen slung over the shoulder of a guard/soldier as Moses and Shades head for Moses' girlfriend's apartment (note the buttstock).
