The following guns were used in the film McQ:
I added some stuff based on what I know from Long Mountain Outfitters. - Gunmaster45
Submachine gun
MAC-10
McQ (John Wayne) takes a MAC-10 from the gunshop in the film.He uses it during the climactic chase on the beach.
Handguns
Browning Hi-Power
McQ (John Wayne) buys a Browning Hi-Power from the same gunshop after having his last remaining revolver confiscated by the Seattle Police Department.
Colt Python
During the climactic car chase on the beach one of the gangsters chasing McQ (John Wayne) is using a Colt Python with a six inch barrel. It also appears that McQ (John Wayne) uses a six inch Python at the beginning of the movie and later a Python "snubbie" with a 2.5 inch barrel. In addition McQ's partner Stan Boyle (William Bryant) is shown carrying what appears to be a Python in a holster just before he is killed.
Smith & Wesson Model 10
After being suspended from the police department McQ (John Wayne) carries a Smith & Wesson Model 10 snubnose revolver.
Star Model B
At the beginning of the movie McQ's (John Wayne) corrupt partner Stan Boyle (William Bryant) kills two other corrupt police officers (his partner in crime) with a silenced pistol. This previously unidentified pistol is a Star Model B. The Spanish 9mm Star Model B was a frequent substite for the Goverment 1911s in the older days of cinema. Mainly because there were problems (that have since been solved) with getting .45ACP blanks to cycle in pistols.
Shotguns
Browning A-5 Shotgun
During the climactic car chase on the beach one of the gangsters chasing McQ (John Wayne)appears to be using a Browning Auto-5 shotgun.
Winchester Model 1897 Shotgun
A large amount of confiscated narcotics is stolen from the Seattle police as it it is being shipped to an incinerator to be destroyed. McQ (John Wayne) attempts to stop the thieves and one of them open fire on McQ (John Wayne) with what appears to be a Winchester Model 1897 "Trench Gun".
Double Barreled "Coach" Shotgun
At the end of the film the drugdealer Santiago (Al Lettieri) attempts to kill McQ (John Wayne) with a short barreled "Coach" shotgun. Not surprisingly he fails and McQ takes him down with his MAC-10 submachine gun.
