:Assuming this is the Ithaca Auto Burglar (the one in the picture appears to be, but I've never heard it refered to as the Model A) it was a factory sawed-off inteded to be used as home / vehicular defense weapon. In fact there was a holster designed specifically to fit the steering column of a car for quick accessability - carjacking apparently being a growing problem in those days. - [[User:Nyles|Nyles]]

Assuming this is the Ithaca Auto Burglar (the one in the picture appears to be, but I've never heard it refered to as the Model A) it was a factory sawed-off inteded to be used as home / vehicular defense weapon.
