::The character was bit on the cheek by a zombie, so during the battle, he knows that he's going to be toast eventually.  The bandage is white early on but it gets soaked in blood by the end of the movie.  So that's a blood soaked LARGE bandage taped onto his cheek. :)

What is up with this guys face?
