The following weapons were used in the miniseries V: The Original Miniseries:

V: The Original Miniseries (1983)

V is the 1983 science fiction miniseries which aired over two nights on NBC. In this miniseries, an alien race who come to be known as "The Visitors" lands on Earth with the promise of peace and prosperity for the human race. However, the truth behind their mission is uncovered, several humans then agree to form a resistance against the Visitors. The story was continued in the 1984 miniseries V: The Final Battle and V: The Series. The story would be reimagined in the 2009 television remake.

M16

At the beginning of the miniseries, Mike Donovan (Marc Singer) is seen covering the war in El Salvador where rebels use M16 rifles against a government helicopter. Resistance fighters also use the M16 against the Visitor spacecraft in the climax of the miniseries after they successfully raid a California National Guard armory under Visitor guard.

Ruger Mini-14

Unknown H&K rifle

The UN guards are using what looks like some kind of H&K rifle (HK33 or G41 from the magazines) when the Visitors land on the UN building.

M60

The M60 machine gun is used by both rebels as well as government forces at the beginning. The GPMG is also seen in the National Guard armory that the Resistance raids at the climax of the series.

Browning M1919

Browning M1919 machine guns are briefly seen in the National Guard armory that the Resistance raids.

Colt MK IV Series 70

The Colt MK IV Series 70 is used by a rebel leader at the beginning to take down a government helicopter. Judging from the muzzle it appears to be chambered in 9mm which was more reliable with blanks at the time.

A Heckler & Koch P9S is the handgun used by Juliet Parish (Faye Grant) against a Visitor spacecraft at the climax of the miniseries.
