Beretta 950 Jetfire

Lyle (Thomas Haden Church) uses a real stainless Beretta 950 Jetfire with pearl grips to shoot George (Brendan Fraser), believing it was a cigarette lighter. Later, the narrator explains that George can't die because he is the hero. The cigarette lighter version can be seen weilded by several guides.

Tranquilizer Rifle(Built from the Winchester Model 70)

Several guides use tranquilizer rifles built from the Winchester Model 70. One is used to neutralize Ape (John Cleese) with a tranquilizer dart. The only difference is that there is a magazine cap and a thermal scope on the rifle, indicating that the tranquilizer rifle is something else.
