The following guns appear in the film Gran Torino:
M1 Garand
Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) uses an M1 Garand that he kept from the Korean War to chase Thao Vang Lor (Bee Vang) out of his garage and scare the Hmong gangmembers off his lawn.Walt misfires it when slipping in his garage when he is chasing after Thao.
Colt M1911A1
Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) uses a Colt M1911A1.You can see the color difference that it has a blue finish in the movie so that its actuattly a pre war commercial 1911. that he kept from the Korean War to scare the "Spooks" away from Thao's sister Sue Lor (Ahney Her), and is seen carrying it around in many scenes. Walt carries it around in his belt without a holster.
MAC-10
MAC-10s are used by the Hmong gang members to shoot up the Lor's house during a drive-by.
IMI Uzi
Smokie (Sonny Vue) flashes an IMI Uzi when arguing with the Hispanic gangsters.
Colt Detective Special
A Colt Detective Special is flashed by a Hispanic gang member.
