The Astra Constable pistol, made in Spain by the defunct firm of Astra (Unceta) was available in calibers .22 LR, .32 ACP, and .380 ACP and is very similar in appearance to the Walther PP-series pistols. It appears in the following movies and TV series:
Film
- Max von Sydow as Joubert in Three Days of the Condor
- Ray Liotta as Henry Hill in Goodfellas
- Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver (standing in for a Walther PPK)

- Miami Vice (with engraved stainless steel finish and pearl grips)
