Krag-Jorgensen Sporter
Sheriff Heck Tate (Frank Overton) brings a "Sporterized" Krag-Jørgensen to the site of the rabid dog, Tim Johnson. He gives it to Atticus Finch (Gregory Peck), telling him to take the shot. One of the members of Walter Cunningham Sr.'s (Crahan Denton's) lynch mob that confronts Atticus at the Maycomb County Jail the night before Tom Robinson's (Brock Peters) trial carries a Winchester Model 1892 lever action rifle.
