Nice, but where's the trigger? This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it. |
The following firearms were used in the 2010 remake film The Wolfman (2010):
Holland & Holland Paradox
Used by Sir John Talbot (Anthony Hopkins). It is possible that the rifle used in the movie is not a Holland & Holland Paradox and that the weapon thought to be a Paradox is actually an Eight Bore shotgun. See the discussion page.
Martini Henry Rifle
A professionally sporterized Martini-Henry Mk. III being used against The Wolfman by Dr. Lloyd (Michael Cronin). It can be identified as a Greener-modified gun by the large cocking lever.
Webley Mark VI
Used by Detective Aberline (Hugo Weaving) throughout the film, and chief of police Colonel Montford (Nicholas Day) in the gypsy camp. After Gwen (Emily Blunt) pushes him away, she takes the revolver and runs, at the end she uses it to shoot and kill The Wolfman.
British 1853 Enfield
Used by Aberline's men.
Winchester 1895 lever action
Either .303 British or .405 Winchester
Probably the latter since Sir John Talbot was a big game hunter and the '95/ .405 combo was a favorite of hunters like Teddy Roosevelt.
Double Barrel Shotgun
Used by the men at the gypsy camp and at the trap with the deer in the forest.
Unknown Revolvers
Used by the police.
Webley Bulldog
When Detective Abberline (Hugo Weaving) goes to Gwen's house looking for Lawrence Talbot, he enters the house along with some of his men one of them has a small revolver that looks like a Webley Bulldog. MacQueen (Clive Russell) also uses one during the werewolf hunt earlier in the film.
Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy"
After scaring off some men from town who wanted to take Lawrence, Sir Talbot (Anthony Hopkins) puts his shotgun on the wall along with his other rifles, the one above his shotgun looks like a Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy"
