Invasion USA (1985) was a remake in name only of the movie Invasion USA (1952). The only common elements were the invasion of the Continental United States by Soviet/Communist commandos using conventional weapons and the attempts by brave Americans to fight them off.
The Following guns were seen in this movie:
M16A1 Rifle
M16A1'sare used in this movie and are mounted with unknown 40mm launchers, Possibly flare weapons?.
Possibly XM-148's or a lookalike copy.
:Actually I remember seeing this movie back in the day and I do not think they were XM148s or flare launchers by virtue of the fact the launcher had a pistol grip and conventional trigger housing and, at the climax of the film, seems to be capable of firing multiple rounds without reload (to wit Norris fires his weapon and by virtue of moving the muzzle two holes appear in the wall). Charon68
- They appear to be some type of handgun stuck into a tube to be a mock up grenade launcher. M14fanboy
I think fanboy is correct, from what I can see it looks like the frame to a Berretta 92.
M60 Machine Gun
Can be seen toted single-handed by a US Army or National Guard soldier.
Also mounted on jeeps used by the military.--KLange 02:38, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Browning M2
Mounted on M60 tanks parked on street in Atlanta
AK47
Carried by Terrorists
Micro Uzi
Matt Hunter(Chuck Norris) carries a Micro Uzi in several scenes. in a special shoulder rig.
SA-7
I think this was another movie mock up as well. Again, the weapon seemed capable of firing multiple times without reload and was considerably shorter than the SA-7. Charon68
I don't think it looked like a SA-7. Also, it was used by Rostov to destroy houses, while the SA-7 was a surface to air missile, thus unsuited for the job. Are you sure it wasn't supposed to be some other weapon?--KLange 02:41, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
M72 LAW Rocket
Used twice during the final battle by Matt Hunter. Hunter first used one to destroy Mikhail Rostov's (Richard Lynch) helicopter. The second time was when Hunter took it from a terrorist he killed and used it to kill Rostov. Also used by US Army and National Guard troops during that occasion.--KLange 02:37, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
MAC-10
M1911A1 Pistol
Seen in holsters of U.S. ARMY and National Guard troops
Carl Gustav M/45 Submachine Gun
Used by many of the terrorists.
Valmet M76F/RK62 assault rifle
Seen in Airboat assault scene and in the opening scene, used by the fake coastguard crew.
[[1]]
[2] note how the shooter has the fire selector set to "safe" in this screengrab.
Madsen M50 SMG
Seen in Airboat assault scene.
Are you sure it was a Madsen, as opposed to some other type of submachine gun?--KLange 02:34, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
