Handguns Heckler & Koch P9S During the second season, LAPD Det. Sgt. Rick Hunter (Fred Dryer ) carries a Heckler & Koch P9S with muzzle compensator, also seen during the opening credits.

The weapon that gets dropped out of the helicopter is a replica of an AK-47, either a model gun or an airsoft weapon.
