The following guns were used in the film Maximum Overdrive:
M72A1 LAW
M72A1 LAW rocket launchers are seen in the film and are erroneously shown to not only be reloadable, but also fired by holding it underhanded (which I assume is dangerous because of the backblast).
CAR-15/Colt Model 607
Seen on gun rack down in the basement. Also carried by one of the patrons during the climax.
Valmet M78
Brad (Leon Rippy) carries a Valmet M78 with SVD stock and scope at the films climax.
M60
Mounted on a Willys M724 and used to shoot up the diner and kill several patrons.
Uzi
Curt (John Short) uses an IMI Uzi to shoot up the ice cream truck.
Sterling submachine gun
Deke (Holter Graham) uses an (Sterling SMG) on a drive-in speaker and later hands the gun over to Brett (Laura Harrington)
M16A2
Curt (John Short) carries an M16A2 when he and Bill (Emilio Estevez) attempts to rescue the bible salesman.
Sten
Carried by Joe (Pat Miller), but never fired with.
L1A1
Carried by Handy (Frankie Faison), but never fired with.
