The following firearms were used in the film Prizzi's Honor:
Smith & Wesson Model 10
When a young Charley Partanna (Michael Sabin) is initiated into the Mafia during the opening credits, a Smith & Wesson Model 10 is visible on the table.

When Charley Partanna (Jack Nicholson) goes out to California to kill Marxie Heller (Joseph Ruskin), Heller reaches for a Colt Detective Special in a drawer. Charley takes it instead and walks Heller out to his garage, where he shoots him twice.
