Flags of Our Fathers is a 2006 World War II film which was directed by Clint Eastwood and based on the book by James Bradley. As in the book, the film follows the lives of the Marines and the Navy medic who were featured in the iconic photograph of the flag raising on the island of Iwo Jima. Bofors Quad Mount
Mounted on several of the US Naval ships are Bofors Quad Mounted guns, which are used to shell the coast of Iwo Jima through out much of the battle.
