The following firearms were used in the film Basic Instinct:

Basic Instinct (1992)

The San Francisco detectives including Nick Curran (Michael Douglas) and Gus (George Dzundza) all carry Glock 17s. Curran hands his over to Lt. Walker (Denis Arndt) when he is suspended.

Glock 17 (2nd Gen) - 9x19mm

Curran, with his Glock holstered, stands up during the interrogation.

Curran hands his Glock to Lt. Walker.

Lt. Walker sniffs Curran's Glock.

Curran grabs Gus's Glock.

Curran aims Gus's Glock.

One of the Internal Affairs officers draws a Smith & Wesson 59 on Curran when he confronts Nielsen.

Smith & Wesson 59 - 9x19mm

The officer threatens Curran.

The police find a Smith & Wesson Model 10 with a 3-inch heavy barrel in Beth's apartment. It is identified as a ".38-caliber" revolver.

Smith & Wesson Model 10 with three inch barrel - .38 Special

The police find the revolver.
