I'm not trying to change anything here just curious but how do we know that it is a 2340 and not a 2009. In every other season Tony uses a 9mm so wouldn't it make since for it be a 2009 since the 2340 is available only in

Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) continues to use a Heckler & Koch USP Compact, chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, throughout the whole of Season 5, in both suppressed and unsuppressed form. It is most easily seen in the Season 5 opener, in Episode 2 when he offers the gun to Wayne Palmer (D.B. Chloe then uses it to mortally wound assassin Haas (Jeff Kober) after he is initially shot by Bauer.

The Glock 17 in suppressed & unsuppressed form is the weapon of choice for CTU Agent Curtis Manning (Roger R. Cross). The handgun is also used by terrorists, the Secret Service Director and agents, local police, Agent Burke (Marty Papazian), and Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller). It is also US Marshal Matthew Jones' weapon seen during Jack's interrogation of Collette Stenger (Stana Katic) in the episode

When Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and Christopher Henderson (Peter Weller) raid the hijacked Russian submarine, he (quite reluctantly) gives Henderson a Smith & Wesson 4506 pistol to use to defend himself. When the raid is complete and Bierko and the missiles neutralized, Jack exits and searches for Henderson, only to find the ex-CTU agent waiting for him, gun drawn. Henderson remarks that Bauer was never going to let him go and then attempts to kill Bauer, only to find the gun empty. Bauer draws his own gun and recounts everything Henderson has done in that day before shooting him twice.

Jack's Father uses a Springfield 1911 with a Custom Barrel that I think said "PROFESSIONAL CAL 45".
FBI Special Agent Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) is seen with a Glock 19 as her standard FBI issued weapon. Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) uses Renee's at the FBI office in Episode 3 after subduing her. Some FBI Agents are using Glock 19 as their standard FBI issued sidearms throughout season 7. Sean Hillinger (Rhys Coiro) uses a Glock 19 to shoot Erika (Ever Carradine) and himself in the FBI server room in episode 10.
NOTE: Numerous users have attempted to correct this entry to say that Walker's sidearm is a Glock 23 in .40 S&W. While the Glock 23 may be an FBI-issue sidearm in real life, this is a TV show, not reality. In Hollywood, prop masters prefer and continue to use 9mm pistols, often as stand-ins for their larger-caliber cousins.

During the kidnapping of Michael Latham (John Billingsley) a masked villain gets on top of a taxi and fires a AA-12 with a 20-round magazine to spook civilians to stay back from the crash site in episode 1.
SIG SG 552
During the kidnapping of Michael Latham (John Billingsley) a masked villain gets out of a kidnap vehicle with a SIG SG 552 with the stock folded in episode 1. Several of General Benjamin Juma's (Tony Todd) commandos carry SIG SG 552 rifles when they infiltrate the White House in episode 11 and 12.
Alan Tanner (Dameon Clarke) kills Gabriel Schector (Tommy Flanagan), and his bodyguard with a suppressed Mauser SP66 on top of the Columbian Building in episode 1. For a bolt-action rifle Tanner fires the rifle as if it were a semi-automatic while the camera is off the rifle.
Ruger P95
Alan Tanner (Dameon Clarke) is seen with a suppressed Ruger P95 when he is trapped in the Columbia Building and unsuppressed when he is at the boats docks in episode 2.
Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) is seen with a two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 at the boat dock but loses it with the struggle with Jack Bauer in episode 2. Morgan (Ian Paul Cassidy) uses a two-tone SIG-Sauer P228 as his first sidearm in episode 4.

One of the guards at Prime Minister Matobos residence is seen with a Beretta 92FS before being blown with a breaching charge and stolen by Emerson (Peter Wingfield) in episode 4. The second guard at the service desk is armed with a Beretta 92FS in episode 7. Bill Buchanan (James Morrison) uses a Beretta 92FS as his standard sidearm in episode 7, 11 and 12. Elemu (Treva Etienne) uses a Beretta 92FS at the grocery stores basement in episode 8. One of Nichols (Mark Aiken) henchman uses a Glock 17 in and attempt to shoot Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) in episode 6. Some of the Metro PD officers use Glock 17 handguns as there standard issued sidearms in episode 9. Several Secret Service Agents use Glock 17 handguns during the infiltration of the White House in episode 12, despite the fact that their standard sidearm is the .357 SIG Sauer P229.

Colonel Iké Dubaku (Hakeem Kae-Kazim) uses a M1911 during the assault on Nichol's (Mark Aiken) base of operations and sets it on the table of his apartment in episode 7.
Rock Island Armory is a common 1911 manufacturer and makes several models with that grip, looks like it may be a RIA/Armscor.
It looks like a Kimber Warrior .45 as it is black and has the same color grips. It also makes sense since the Warrior is used by MARSOC a division of SOCOM.

Juma and his commandos use suppressed Browning Hi-Power Mark III pistols to silently kill Secret Service Agents in the White House in episodes 12 & 13. Ngozi (Keston John) uses a unsuppressed Browning Hi-Power as his sidearm during the infiltration of the White House in episode 12. Bill Buchanan (James Morrison) seizes a non suppressed Hi-Power from one of the commandos to set off an explosion in the saferoom in episode 13.
FN P90
Members of the Secret Service Counter Assault team that recapture the White House from General Juma in episode 13 carry FN P90 submachine guns. A few Starkwood mercenaries in episode 17 also carry P90's.
Heckler & Koch UMP
John Quinn (Sebastian Roché) uses a suppressed Heckler & Koch UMP equipped with tri-rails to kill Senator Blaine Mayer (Kurtwood Smith) in his estate, and hunt Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) in episode 14. Agent Moss notes when talking to Agent Walker that "Blaine was killed with a UMP 40 submachine gun." It would be easy to determine caliber, but not model.
In episode 6, one of Nichol's bodyguards attempts to kill Tony Almeida with a Glock, but is shot by Jack Bauer before he is able to do so. Some Secret Service Agents also use unknown Glocks in episode 11 & 12. Greg Seaton (Rory Cochrane) uses a suppressed Glock 17 to "kill" Stokes (Michael Rodrick), before giving it to Tony in episodes 16 & 17. A FBI agent uses a Glock 17 in episode 18.

Browning M2 Machine Guns can be seen mounted on Humvees in the Starkwood compound in episode 16 & 17.
FN F2000 Tactical
Several FN F2000 Tactical rifles with red dot sights are seen in the hands of the Starkwood mercenaries who surround the FBI agents and Navy Seals in episode 17.

At least one Starkwood mercenary carries a IMI Tavor TAR-21 in episode 17.

Heckler & Koch USP Compact
Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) uses his signature Heckler & Koch USP Compact chambered in 9x19mm. Victor Aruz (Benito Martinez) uses a Heckler & Koch USP Compact as his sidearm, then is later used by Jack when he and Victor are hunted by assassins in episode 1 untill he discarded it when Jack runs out of ammo. Jack then takes a USP Compact from CTU's armoury in episode 2 and uses it to kill Davros in episode 4.
Remington 700 A.I.C.S.
The Sniper (Cliff Simon) uses a modified suppressed Remington 700PSS on a (Accuracy International Chassis System) AICS platform with a Elcan Digital Hunter DayNight Riflescope when Victor Aruz (Benito Martinez) enters his apartment in episode 1.
Beretta 92FS
The Spotter (Stefan Kapicic) shoots Victor Aruz (Benito Martinez) with a Beretta 92FS when he flees his apartment in episode 1. A NYPD officer uses a Beretta 92FS when responding to the scene of Jack treating Victors gunshot wound in episode 1. In episode 4 one of President Hassan's bodyguards, who is now dazed and confused from the IED, aims his Beretta 92FS at Cole Ortiz, almost mistaking him as the assassin.
Remington 870
A NYPD officer uses a Remington 870 when responding to the scene of Jack treating Victors gunshot wound in episode 1.
Note: Agent Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) asked why the CTU drones anti missile countermeasures did not protect the helicopter. That is because the M141 SMAW-D fires 83mm unguided rockets. It does not lock on to the heat of the engine or any type countermeasure. Later on however it is refered to as a Stinger, even though it isint.
Colt 1911A1 Series 70
In episode 2 "5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M." when Jack illegally goes into New York CTU's armory, we see a gun rack full of what looks to be Colt 1911A1 series 70 pistols underneath the rack full of USP Compacts.
Glock 17
Seen as the standered service pistol of New York CTU's security guards. In the end of episode 2 "5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M." two CTU guards draw their Glock 17s at Jack when he attempts to leave the armoury illegally with a USP Compact and a couple of extra magazines. In the episode 4 "7:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M." CTU agent Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) is seen using a Glock 17 when in pursuit of the assassin Davros. Davros (Doug Hutchison) himself also uses a Glock 17 when he attempts to kill President Hassan and Ortiz.
M4A1
In episode 2 "5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M." a couple of M4A1s with EoTech holographic sights, flashlights, and foreward hand grips are seen in gun racks in New York CTU's armory when Jack goes in to illegally obtain a USP Compact and a couple of magazines before he goes off to follow up on Chloe's lead on the where abouts of the assassin Davros (Doug Hutchison).
Heckler & Koch HK416
In Episode 2, "5:00 PM-6:00 PM," an HK416 can be seen along the wall while Jack Bauer picks up a USP Compact.
Walther P99
Near the end of episode 2 "5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M." the assassin Davros (Doug Hutchison) uses a suppressed Walther P99 to intimdate a friend and partner, an NYPD Sergeant, and his wife revealing who he trully is. When his friend refuses to comply with Davros' order, Davros shoots his friend's wife in the leg missing her knee cap and stating that "next time I won't miss the bone."

Near the end of episode 6 "9:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M." Agent Cole Ortiz (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) uses an SR-25 sniper rifle with 20 round magazine, scope and AN/PEQ inferred laser designator.
Unkown Suppressed Pistol
Near the end of episode 6 "9:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M." Sergei Bazhaev (Jürgen Prochnow) uses an unknown suppressed pistol. It looks like a Beretta Cougar but not 100% sure.
