All the FBI agents, including Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks), Earl Amdurksy (Brian Howe), and Tom Fox (Frank John Hughes) have a Colt Detective Special as their primary weapon.

Hanratty prepares to enter Abagnale and Brenda's room during the wedding reception.

Hanratty and his agents draw on a man outside the airport they believe to be Abagnale.

One of the French policemen during the 1967 arrest scene carries a Walther PPK.
