Though most of the weaponry used by Special Unit 2 members, including their Tactical teams, were science fiction based 'special weapons' designed to kill creatures known an 'links'. Real firearms were occasionally used. Most real firearms were seen wielded by criminals or the regular uniformed Chicago Police officers, those who were not part of the elite 'monster hunting' unit.
The following guns were used by the following actors in the show:
COP 357 Derringers
- COP 357 Derringers (hidden in a secret compartment) were used by Detective Nicholas O'Malley (Michael Landes) and Detective Kate Benson (Alexondra Lee) against hostage takers at a party in - Season 2, Episode 5 "The Eve"
Smith & Wesson Model 38/49 Bodyguard
- Seen carried by Kate Benson (Alexondra Lee) in the Pilot Episode when she is still a uniformed Chicago Police Officer.
