Heckler & Koch USP

In the surveillance videos of the murders, the killer appears to use a Heckler & Koch USP in 9mm. This type of handgun is also hinted at as the characters call the handgun an "H&K 9mm".

Trivia: In the book this weapon was a Heckler & Koch P7

Something about the grip makes me think of a 1911.
