The following guns will be used in the upcoming 2009 game based on the film of the same name: Terminator Salvation. The game is set two years before the events of the movie. This is an incomplete list, and the following weapons were confirmed by GamePro magazine.

Remington 870 Folding Stock

The Remington 870 Police Combat with Folding Stock is available as a Player weapon. This weapon is very effective against Aerostats capable of destroying them with one shot at close range. In the game it has an 8 round magazine capacity and you can carry a total of 160 shells.

M4A1 Carbine

The M4A1 Carbine in the game uses 40-round magazines though the weapon is modeled with 30-round magazines. You can carry a total of 800 rounds including what is loaded in the weapon. If you run out of ammo with this weapon, your squad members will give you extra magazines.

M79 Grenade Launcher

The M79 grenade launcher appears in the game and is modified to with a pistol grip and an M4 style collapsing stock.

M249 SAW

TheM249 SAW is available to the player and is incorectly refered to as a heavy machinegun in game. This weapon is mainly good for the big machines like T-7Ts and T-600s. The M249 in game has a 200 round magazine and you can carry another 200 round magazine in reserve for a total of 400 rounds.

Mk 19 grenade launcher

The Mk 19 grenade launcher is seen as a turret weapon.

The RPG-7 is one available weapon. This weapon is effective on T-600s, T-17s and HKs.

M134 Minigun

The DA M134D Minigun is hand held weapon carried in the right hand of T-600 Terminators, both endoskeletons and "skin jobs."

T-600 "skin job" Terminators carry a modified self-loading M203 grenade launcher in their left hands.
