Nice, but where's the trigger?

This article or section is incomplete. You can help IMFDB by expanding it.

The following weapons are seen in the film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009)

M4A1 Carbine

Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel), CMSgt. Epps (Tyrese Gibson), and another of their men can been seen holding M4A1 carbines. Apparently all the M4s as well as other weapons used by the humans were dressed up a bit to look more futuristic and a lot of them were using polycarbonate magazines. They appear to be modified to use special Sabot ammo as it was stated in the first transformers film that this was the only type of ammunition that could hurt them. Also using Magpul CTR Stock.

Hand Held M134 Minigun

A Hand Held M134 Minigun is seen being used by an unnamed extra. Movie armorer Steve Karnes had the following to say about the film thread on our discussion forum. "You missed the hand held Dillon M134DT Titanium Minigun with a carbon fiber backpack ammo box with power source. I designed and built the hand hold mount for the Minigun. It's a different set up than the old style used in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The set up for Transformer 2 is the same one we used in GI Joe except it was a standard M134 and not the Titanium model."

Note that the flexible chute attaches to the right side of the magazine "upside" down, as opposed to "right side up" on the left side and looped around to the gun like in Predator.

NEST Chainguns

Several NEST vehicles are armed with mocked up Doom style chainguns. While they look like GAU-19/As they are much smaller than the real thing. They are about the same size as a HMMWV mounted M134D Minigun. Secondly the amunition canisters are smaller than those for either aformentioned system.

A true TASER was not used in the movie, as the devices used to stun the guards at the museum were cheap contact only stun guns that cannot shoot.

Bushmaster M17S

A number of Bushmaster M17S rifles were seen in the hands of Chinese police officers in Shanghai. It is possible that the M17S rifles were standing in for modern Chinese bullpup rifles like the Norinco QBZ-95 rifle.

It takes standard STANAG magazines.
